If you're up for a bold choice, but not quite "50 feet big" bold, Hilton has a great suggestion: the Ficus triangularis, also known as the Sweetheart tree. This beauty can reach heights of up to eight feet, sporting unique triangular leaves with lovely gray-green streaks. The best part? Unlike its cousin, the Ficus Benjamina (the weeping fig), the Ficus triangularis is less likely to drop its leaves as easily.

Plus, Rhaphidophora Tetrasperma has leaves that resemble those of a Monstera deliciosa, but it's more compact, making it a perfect fit for small apartments.
